API settings are required to establish an authenticated connection between Feed.biz and Amazon. Data can be transferred to and from Amazon once a connection has been established.
Setting up the API and obtaining account related details
When you access Amazon for the first time, you need to provide correct API Keys along with all required information (such as Seller ID) to connect to an Amazon Marketplace.
- Click Get Access Data
- Sign in using your email address and password
- Select I want to use an application to access my Amazon seller account with MWS(Fig.1)
- Click copy next to Feed.biz and paste the text into Application Name in the Amazon Seller central page (Fig.1 – No. 1)
- Click copy next to Developer Account Number and paste the text into Application’s Developer Account Number in the Amazon Seller central page. Then, click Next (Fig.1 – No. 2)
- Check both checkboxes (Fig. 2 – No. 1 and 2) to accept the Amazon MWS License Agreement and click Next (Fig. 2 – No. 3)
- Copy the Seller ID (Fig. 3 – No. 1) and paste it in the Seller ID field of Feed.biz
- Copy the MWS Auth token (Fig. 3 – No. 2) from Amazon and paste it in the dedicated field in Feed.biz
- Click Check Connectivity
The Amazon Seller Central page will open
This will provide all the necessary Amazon settings
With a successful login, there will be a success message in green
