Authentication
Users are recognized when their login and password are correct – and are authenticated when their security token is found to be valid.
The security token is generated by Feed.biz when the user selects his mode of operations.
The security token is used to secure exchanges between the Shop and Feed.biz.
Upon clicking Save & Continue, you are taken to My Shop to define your data source and carry out the imports.
Mode of operations
In General Configuration, you specify the mode of operations under which you are going to operate Feed.biz. The mode indicates the level of technicality that will be displayed by Feed.biz;
The available Modes and the implications for selecting each of them are as follows:
| Mode | Description | Remarks |
| Beginner | Simplified environment, used for the synchronization of Stocks, Prices, importing Orders, updating the statuses; the simplest operations. | Default choice for regular operations |
| Expert | Enables user to use extra tools and access to the advanced configuration; creating Products, Mapping, Profiles etc. | For advanced users |
| Advanced | Allows technicians to view the process environment during development or to investigate a problem during the testing phase. This mode has to be activated only on request of your support service. |
